Andrea Garibaldi, having graduated in Modern Literature, first worked for Il Messaggero as a Correspondent before becoming a Specialist Correspondent and Deputy Head of Rome News.
In his work as a correspondent he covered the earthquake in Irpinia, the massacre at Bologna train station, the political evolution of Eastern countries following the fall of the Berlin wall and the various phases of the war in the former Yugoslavia. In 1998, he began directing the Roman News section at Corriere della Sera where, in 2004, he was appointed a Special Correspondent.
