Sofia Gallo was born in Turin, where she lives and works. She has always immersed herself in history and literature, has written numerous essays and texts for schools, and collaborated with the most important Italian publishing houses.
She has written tales and novels for children and teenagers since 1992, and in recent years has curated the review section of site: www.filastrocche.it and L’INDICE magazine based in Turin.
Today she writes full time with a particular focus on the issues of today, including multi-culturalism. Her books have been published by a variety of publishers and won numerous awards. She has always loved travelling and long walks in the mountains where she finds time to reflect and material to narrate.
